Goat cheese, apple and bacon appetizer :: Aperitivo de queso de cabra, manzana y bacon


Speechless. This is how my boyfriend and I ended up after eating this delicacy (I remade the original recipe a little bit ;). Although the ingredients are easily stored in your kitchen, and you don't have to go to the furthest shop to buy anything special, they all together make the perfect combination.

Now everything I can say is: OH-MY-GOD, you have to try this out ;)

Ingredients
  • 1 apple
  • 125 gr of goat cheese cream
  • 150 gr of bacon
  • 50 ml of cream
  • 15 gr of butter
  • 5 ml of olive oil
  • a pinch of salt
Elaboration
First of all, peel the apple and chop it into very small pieces. Grab a pan and melt the butter. Right away, sauté the apple for 8-10 minutes until it has softened and has got an intense yellow color. Put it away and let's go for the next step.
In the same pan fry the bacon. As you can see, I already bought it in small strips, otherwise, cut it before. Place the fried bacon in a paper towel to get rid of excess oil. It is an important step to make the appetizer less heavy. 
Then, on one hand empty the cheese in a bowl. 

On the other hand, pour the cream in a crystal container and introduce it in the microwave. Heat until it is boiling and pour it directly on the cheese. 
Add the olive oil, the salt and mix everything together to get creamy cream.
The final step: to serve. In two glasses, add a layer of cream, a layer of apple and a layer of bacon. Repeat the same process a second time and you are ready to enjoy this easy scrumptious appetizer.

It is perfect for any celebration: Christmas, birthday parties and meals with friends! Do not forget to choose a good drink to go with it. We had a Rioja red wine and it matched perfectly ;)
